Welcome to the libraries in Vejen Kommune

Vejen Kommunes Public Libraries holds a collection of books, music, films, games, newspapers, magazines and much more.

We offer this in several different languages to accommodate your needs.

Membership is free and with a library card you have access to the whole collection.
Joining is easy you just have to visit us at Vejen Public Library or at Brørup, Holsted, Rødding Library or at the Mobile Library and sign up.

• Your "sygesikringsbevis" (Your National Health Insurance card) is valid as a Library card.

• Your "sygesikringsbevis / borrower’s card" must be presented for registration.

• You are responsible for any item borrowed on your card.

• If you lose your card, please inform the library staff at once in order to avoid misuse.

• If you change your name, email, phone or move to another address, please inform the staff.

Online Catalogue
The catalogue gives you details of all titles in our collection at our libraries. The catalogue tells you in which libraries the titles are held, and whether they are currently available. If you need help with your Library account, please contact the library by phone: +45 7996 5250.

Computer and Internet
PC usage and access to the Internet is free. We also offer access wireless internet, so you can bring your laptop. If you need to print, there will be charge.

Library charges
Borrowing is free. However, there are charges for loaned items that are overdue. Your loans can be renewed up to 9 times if there are no outstanding reservations attached.

Most library items are on loan for a period for 30 days. If an item is overdue you will be charged according to our current regulations. Please read the regulations.
